Neo-Max Boat Carpet from Kenneth Lacey Mills was developed specifically for use in the outdoor industry. Neo-Max cushion material offers a level durability, weather resistance, print quality and comfort that is unmatched by any other printed textile product on the market. A polyester print face combined with an in house printing process produces super high resolution patterns that capture every detail of today's camos. Neo-Max outdoor and marine carpet's cushion material absorbs noise and vibration, as well as, provided padding, insulation and protection for all types of outdoor applications. The cushion back is also resistant to water, rot and mold.
Unlimited outdoor uses - boats, docks, atv's, RVs, tenting, patios, door mat, ...... as well as indoor.
They come 60 inches wide and are available in 10 foot and 18 foot lengths and measures 1/4 inch thick.
Installation Instructions
Tools & Materials Needed:
Utility Knife & New Blades
Construction Paper
Masking Tape
Double sided Duct or Carpet Tape
Scissors & Permanent Marker
Note: Glue is not recommended for installing Neo-Max in boats. Proper installation
will ensure Neo-Max can be removed periodically for cleaning & boat maintenance.
However if you choose to use glue 3M spray adhesive works well.
Step 1: Clean & remove any dirt or debris from surface Neo-Max will be applied
to. Use a cleaning solution & brush.
Step 2: Use the construction paper to make an exact pattern. Using one piece at a
time and taping together as you go, lay the paper’s edge around the entire outside
edge of the area your covering. Also, go around anything that might be inside the
area your covering ( console / seats etc ). Continue with paper & masking tape until
you’ve completely cover your area. Note: A tight exact fit is a must for a proper
Neo-Max installation. Get into every nook & cranning with the paper & use scissors
to trim paper for edges that are not strait. When finished mark your pattern
“TOP” side.
Step 3: Remove pattern from Boat and lay it “TOP” side up on camo side up Neo-
Max, secure with tape. On a flat surface suitable for cutting use the utility knife to
cut out your pattern. Note: Start with a new razor blade & replace blade every two
to three feet of cutting. BE CAREFUL use of razor could result in personal injury
Step 4: Install Neo-Max. Check for fit & make any necessary adjustments. With
proper fit, front deck & floor should require little or no double sided Tape. Areas
such as back deck, storage lids or small flat areas should be secured around outer
edges with double sided tape. Once installed inspect for any areas that may catch
wind, tape if needed. Cut edges can be touched up with a Black permanent
Marker if needed
Care : Neo-Max can be vacuumed or washed with garden hose. For best results &
product life we recommend cleaning Neo-Max after each use and storing out of
elements when not in use.
